How to log into the Chaminade Portal - Faculty/Staff

Overview

This article contains instructions on how to log into Portal. The Web Portal is a Gateway to access your Campus Resources through a centralized source

Requirements to Succeed

  • Your Chaminade Email Address
    • Format - firstname.lastname@chaminade.edu
    • Example (Name = John Doe) - john.doe@chaminade.edu
  • Initial default password
    • Format - CHAMINADE [firstinitial_lastinitial][last_2digits_of_Chaminade_ID]!
    • Example (Name = John Doe, Chaminade ID = 1234567) - CHAMINADEjd67!
  • New personal password
    • Minimum password length of 8 characters
    • Must NOT contain our full 7-digit Chaminade ID number
    • Must NOT contain any part of your account's display name
    • Must meet complexity requirement of at least 3 of the following categories
      • At least 1 upper case letter (A-Z)
      • At least 1 lower case letter (a-z)
      • At least 1 numerical digit (0-9)
      • At least 1 non-alphanumeric character/symbol (~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/)

Instructions

  • Navigate to chaminade.edu
  • Click "FACULTY/STAFF" at the top of the site
  • Click "Web Portal" under Accounts
  • Enter your Chaminade Email Address, then click 'Next"

  • Follow the prompts.
  • Please not that this password will also be used for:
    • CUH Google Email
    • Self-Service (if applicable)
    • Canvas (if applicable - usually for Faculty)
    • Ellucian Colleague (if applicable - usually for Staff)
  • Password will expire after a year (365 days), requiring a new password to be set on expiration

Frequently encountered problems

Only prompting to 'Enter password', does not prompt to enter Email (Click to Expand)
Password is not working (Click to Expand)
