Overview
Canvas is an online platform designed to deliver your learning materials. It functions as a digital classroom where you can share course content, assignments, quizzes, and communicate with your students. It’s user-friendly and accessible from your computer, tablet, or smartphone, making it easy to support your students' learning journey whether they’re at home or on the go
Requirements to Succeed
- A 7-digit Chaminade ID (CID)
- Your password, it would be the same password as
- Your Chaminade Portal
- Your Chaminade Gmail
- Your password for your campus workstation login
- Your Self-Service (if applicable)
- Your Ellucian Colleague (if applicable)
Instructions
- Navigate to chaminade.edu
- Click "FACULTY/STAFF" at the top of the site
- Click "Canvas Leaning Management System"
- Enter your 7-digit Chaminade ID (CID) and your default or Chaminade Portal password, then click "Login"
Frequently encountered problems
Error message: "The password you entered was incorrect." (click to expand)
- It's possible that you've already updated your password in the Portal. Canvas and Self-Service both use the same password as the Portal.
- Double-check that your 7-digit Chaminade ID (CID) using the "Forgot your 7 Digit CID?" link.
- If you're unable to retrieve your Chaminade ID, please contact the Records department to ensure your information is accurately recorded in our system. You can reach them at records@chaminade.edu or by calling (808) 735-4815.
- Attempt to reset your password by using the "Forgot your Portal/Canvas Password"Questions? Need more help?
- If you are still received this error, please submit a password reset ticket.
